Return Policy

ORDER CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS: All requests to change or cancel an order are subject to our ability to confirm. Changes and cancellations are possible only prior to the order being put into production. After an order is placed in production, cancellation or changes cannot be accepted and the order must be shipped upon completion. Orders for special items are not returnable.

  • Any cancellation for orders that have been entered production or have been produced is subjected to a 25% restocking fee of the total order value.

CLAIMS AND ALLOWANCES: We cannot be responsible for any factory defects not reported to the factory promptly after merchandise is received. We reserve the right to specify that items claimed to be defective be returned to the factory for our inspection. If the claim is justified, the item(s) will be repaired or replaced at no charge. In granting allowances the following points should be kept in mind:

  • We do not profess to make perfect furniture. Our obligation to the dealer is to produce furniture within certain quality standards commensurate with the price. Perfection cannot be expected because of the material with which we deal and because of the values we give. We are constantly striving to give the best quality possible for the price, but ultimate perfection is not practical because it would make the cost completely prohibitive.
  • It is part of the dealer's function to service the product. A reasonable amount of touch-up and deluxing is the dealer's responsibility.
  • Although many of our dealers have successfully delivered our merchandise direct to the customer prepacked, we do not guarantee or recommend that our merchandise be delivered in this manner with no service by the dealer.

TRANSIT LOSS OR DAMAGES: All shipments are delivered to the transportation company in good condition. Our responsibility ceases at that time. Each carton should be carefully examined at the time of delivery to determine if there is any evidence of transit damage. All cartons should be opened and the contents examined in order to check for damages. Contact the delivering carrier for an inspection and file claim. We will attempt to assist you in every way possible. However, we cannot file a claim with the carrier on your behalf.

LIMITED WARRANTY: Chromcraft Furniture, with all its craftsmen, takes pride in manufacturing a quality product. You can be assured that only the latest in engineering technology is applied in our production facilities and that each and every product is carefully inspected before shipment. Chromcraft warrants to the original consumer that its product is free of defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. Commercial use voids all warranties. In the event of a defect the consumer must deliver the defective part(s) along with a dated proof of purchase, to the original dealer and request service within the warranty period. Chromcraft will replace the defective part(s) at no charge, prepaid to the dealer. No other related expenses are covered, such as labor or transportation cost. Chromcraft does not assume nor authorize anyone to assume for it any other obligations or liability in connection with its products. The Company disclaims any other warranties expressed or implied, in fact or by law, and of any other obligation or liability whatsoever.

ALL CLAIMS must have prior inspection and factory approval before a replacement can be made.
